Emily has more than 10 years’ experience working in communications in the nonprofit sector, primarily for faith-based organizations and as a freelance writer and editor. She has had an interest in grant writing since she was in high school, having served as president of a team that was gifted grant money to benefit programs serving local youth. Emily is passionate about the power of words to help win funding for organizations that help people achieve their goals. She holds a BA in English from Valparaiso University.
